- Support local agriculture through workshops for farmers on marketing; support developing agriculture clusters; and connect institutional buyers to local produce.
- Bring information to the region on opportunities for funding renewable energy and efficiency projects for small businesses and farmers.
- Support emerging leaders and new community development projects through the Lead Western Maine program.
- Facilitate conversations about the region’s land use priorities through the Woods and Waters Group of the Maine Mountains Heritage Network.
